We are a Kiwi and South African combination who are both passionate about travelling, supporting the work of talented artisans and we have a love of unique decor and furniture which is handcrafted and not the same as the usual everyday items you find in all the big department stores.

It's an amazing thing to see the skilled artisans from around the world working hard at their trade. Whether it's a Moroccan specialising in painstakingly cutting the fine detail into brass lamps, the Turkish putting the mosaic glass details in stunning designs on lanterns, the Indians block-printing textiles and hand painting furniture and then the Mexicans blowing glass into fantastic objects or their carpenters putting together wonderful pieces of hand crafted furniture. We feel it's important to keep these artisan trades alive and in turn creating more sustainable jobs. We believe this is one of the downfalls of everything being mass produced in factories.

The majority of our exotic items are made from recycled products. Some of the items that we have seen recycled are old fishing boats, broken down cars and motorbikes, tin cans, reclaimed pine and old used glass jars and bottles. This helps create a more sustainable future.
