Moroccan wedding blankets also known as handira are woven out of sheep's wool, cotton and linen by Berber women in the Middle Atlas mountains of Northern Morocco. Wedding blankets are woven in anticipation of a wedding, and are traditionally worn around the brides neck like a cape. Beautiful and decadent!!
